教练Alex Inglethorpe形容孩子们在与日本队比赛时的表现是“杰出”的，后者在周日击败了来自墨西哥的蒂格雷斯。

热刺U-16队的球员Jack Bartram在第20分钟替补受伤的Anton Blackwood登场，并且制造了1粒入球令我们领先结束了上半时。

日本队在下半时第55分钟将比分扳平，之后虽然他们大举进攻，但孩子们也状态回升并制造了更佳的得分机会，最终比分定格在了1:1。

Alex报告说到：”We watched Japan on the Sunday and they looked a highly-technical side and we actually changed our shape a little, and we don’t do that against many teams. We started well and created the better chances in the first half. Jack Bartram came on when Anton Blackwood picked up a hamstring injury and he crossed for our goal, Nathan Byrne headed it back for Jesse Waller-Lassen to score from close range. Nathan had another chance later in the half and we were delighted to go in 1-0 up. It was a complete first half performance. We expected Japan to come out strong and they equalised 10 minutes into the second half when Sugimoto rolled a defender in the penalty area and scored. We managed to regain control though and that was the most pleasing thing because we’re a comparitively young side out here and could have crumbled. Instead, we got back on top, Tom Carroll hit the post and Kudus Oyenuga should perhaps have scored with 10 minutes left with a header from a free-kick. It was a game that required far more concentration than we normally experience and given the level of experience of some of the players I thought we handled it well.”

来自官网的消息，热刺学院队在周日的达拉斯杯（Dallas Cup）揭幕战中旗开得胜，击败了主队达拉斯德州人（Dallas Texans）。

进球来自于Massimo Luongo和Anton Blackwood的点球，我们在美国职业大联盟球队FC 达拉斯的主场必胜客公园（Pizza Hut Park）球场取得了2:1的比分。

教练Alex Inglethorpe报告说到：”We controlled the early stages and deserved to go 1-0 up through Massimo Luongo’s header from Paul Jose M’poku’s cross after 20 minutes. We should have added to that as well because we had a couple of decent chances, Kudus Oyenuga went close and Tom Carroll hit the post. We paid for that in the second half as Dallas started to get on top and the equalised when a free-kick was deflected in just after the hour. To be fair to the lads, they showed good character to respond straight away as we went up the other end and Alex Pritchard was brought down for a penalty that Anton Blackwood converted. From there, it was just a case of seeing the game out and we did that. It was a good win and as I said, the lads showed plenty of character and resilience to come through.”

来自官网的消息，在热刺今天签入了巴西国际俱乐部的Sandro之后，主帅老雷认为我们已经签下了巴西“最具光明前景”的未来之星。

这名年仅21岁的中场球员已经通过了体检并完成了相应的转会手续，这将意味着他会在今年夏天随国际队参加完南美解放者杯（Copa Libertadores）的比赛后来到热刺。

老雷已经开始期盼这位巴西国家队球员在下赛季融入热刺阵中了。“他是一名杰出的年轻球员，我们认为他将有着光明的未来”，老雷说到。

“他是一位强壮且富有侵略性的中场球员。我们一直盼望他能够来到这里与我们在下赛季并肩战斗。他已经代表过巴西国家队出战，而且还是国家青年队的队长。

“那天晚上我与Alex Ferguson共进了晚餐，他带给我的比赛数据简直令人惊讶。去年的冠军联赛里有14或15名英格兰球员，但却有超过100名巴西球员。当你想着这是欧洲的锦标赛时，它就正说明了巴西球员的全面的优势和质量，而他（Sandro）正是来自巴西的有着光明前景的一位球员。
